
FIFA instructed the teams to announce their preliminary squads on Friday (October 21), a month before the start of the World Cup in Qatar. Meanwhile, Argentina’s initial squad has been leaked before the announcement.
Argentinian sports TV channel TNT Sports journalist Arturo Bullian revealed Argentina’s 35-man preliminary squad in a ceremony on Wednesday (October 19) night. Arturo said that Coach Lionel Scaloni is going to hand over this team to FIFA.
Argentina played two international friendlies against Jamaica and Honduras last month. All of the announced squads for those two matches are in Arturo’s list. Juan Musso, Marco Senesi, Juan Faith, Lucas Alario, Nicolas Dominguez, Angel Correa and Giovanni Simeone could be added to his leaked list.

World football’s highest governing body said the 32 participating teams must send a list of at least 35 to 55 players. Teams will have until November 14 to choose their final 26-man squad. The next day i.e. November 15, FIFA will publish the player list of all teams.
Meanwhile, as per FIFA tournament rules, the final squad has to be selected from the initial list of players. In the next three weeks, there is no opportunity to take anyone from outside the team.

Forwards: Angel Correa, Julián Alvarez, Lautaro Martinez, Joaquin Correa, Angel Correa, Paulo Dybala, Thiago Almada, Lionel Messi, Lucas Ocampos/Lucas Alario/Nicolas Dominguez and Giovanni Simeone/Emiliano Buendia.
