On Tuesday (August 23), the news agency Reuters reported that the country’s Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb said this on Monday. Pakistan will send troops to Qatar under the agreement. The draft agreement between Doha and Islamabad has received cabinet approval. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will visit Qatar on this day. However, it is not yet certain when the agreement will be signed between the two countries.
A brief statement from Pakistan’s cabinet said that Qatar has sought their assistance in security matters for the World Cup to be held from November 20 to December 18.
Incidentally, Qatar World Cup will open with Qatar-Ecuador match on November 20. England will play against Iran in the next match. A total of 32 teams will be divided into 8 groups. The curtain will come down on December 18 with the finals.
